In collaboration with the Choose Clean Water Coalition, our friends at the Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed have created a super-useful Civic Engagement toolkit for the 2022 General Elections. You can access the toolkit here; it includes important voting deadlines, sample social media posts, sample outreach emails, graphics, and voting tools and resources. CDRW invites everyone to use and share this toolkit when encouraging your members to vote this November. And remember, urging your members, friends, family and colleagues to vote is a constitutionally protected activity. IRS tax rules that govern 501c3 nonprofits are designed to ensure accountability around lobbying, which is urging people to vote, or urging elected officials to support, particular legislation.
