Proposed Clean Water Regulation Rollbacks Will Harm Our Communities: Op-ed

“Every one of us has the basic, human right to clean, drinkable water. Our health, our communities, and our economy depend on it.” So say Andrew Johnson, Carol Collier, and Peter Howell, Delaware River conservation champions and authors of a recent op-ed in The Inquirer. The commentary challenges the Trump administration’s proposal to roll back key clean water protections mandated by the Waters of the United States rule. The proposed rollbacks would threaten the clean water that entire communities and economies depend on in our region, and would have a major impact on the people, the businesses and the wildlife that all depend on clean water in the Delaware River watershed.
